Waymart CWP Completes Final Project for 2023

Members of SCI Waymart’s Community Work Program thought they were done for the season, but they were excited to complete one more project in 2023.
On Dec. 7, the CWP served at the Calvary United Methodist Church in Waymart. The crew of three helped build multiple shelving units for the church’s food pantry, then unloaded pallets of food onto the units and help organize the pantry for the holidays. The church was so grateful for the crew’s efforts that they gave Supervisor Socha a thank you/Christmas card.
The pantry also distributes food to families in need, especially during the holiday season.
