Harrisburg CCC Reentrants, Counselors Plant Trees

On April 11 and 12, Harrisburg CCC reentrants and counselors assisted the City of Harrisburg by planting trees near Taylor Park Apartments. Volunteers planted numerous species of trees to help improve Harrisburg’s urban canopy. In the two-day event, 8 reentrants assisted other local agencies by plant approximately 32 trees along the sidewalks. Volunteers also participated in a tree planting demonstration prior to planting. Harrisburg City Forester Cody Legge organized the event and was appreciative that our staff and reentrants could assist with this event.
