Waymart Hosts Support Annex for Local Partners

Once each year, SCI Waymart holds a Support Annex where outside agencies come to discuss capabilities and needs in the event of an emergency. Organized by Waymart’s Critical Incident Manager, Lt. Cush, the event features Waymart’s Corrections Emergency Response Team (CERT), Fire Emergency Response Team (FERT), Hostage Negotiation Team (HNT), Hostage Rescue Team (HRT), Corrections Rifle Specialist Team (CRST), and Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM).
"I was proud to let our six Special Teams show off what they do," said Supt. Mark Wahl.
Each team had phenomenal presentations and showed off our capabilities and abilities. It was a fun event to let the teams brag about all the great things they can do at the facility.
