SCI Dallas Converts Barber School to Cosmetology School

In early July, SCI Dallas finalized the conversion of its Barber School to a Cosmetology School. The first SCI Dallas Cosmetology Instructor is Lyndsey Fuches-Jones. Ms. Fuches-Jones helped facilitate the licensing process thanks to her knowledge in the field and organizational skills. She also supervises the licensed inmate barbers and barber managers as they continue to provide daily haircuts to inmates and staff without interruption. The entire licensing process took two years to complete.
