In honor of 143 Day in PA, the Phoenix Group donated $5,000 to the Somerset County Children’s Aid Home. 143 Day in PA is an annual day of kindness and gratitude in honor of Pennsylvania’s most famous neighbor, Mister Rogers.

On behalf of the Children’s Aid Home, Lynne Sablotski was very appreciative of the donation and said that the money will be used to benefit children in the community by supporting camps and field trips, counseling services and other outreach efforts.

The Phoenix Group raises money by holding daily ice cream and soda sales. They combine those funds with other fundraising sales such as candy, protein, hoagie, baked goods, and other items.
