BCC Facility Supports Local VA Hospital

Tomorrows Hope staff organized a fundraiser after seeing a Facebook post about a family in the Duncansville area who recently lost their father. A lot of the family’s time was spent at the Veterans Hospital in Altoona over the last six months, so to honor the father this family decided to ask for donations via Facebook to be able to provide gift bags for current residents who reside at the hospital.
In honor of the family, staff at Tomorrows Hope collected money to buy items for gift bags to be handed out at the hospital. Each bag contained the following: socks, fleece blanket, ChapStick, sugar free hard candy, chocolate, razors, deodorant, slipper grippy socks, shaving cream, toothbrushes, toothpaste, back scratcher, word search books and Dove soap.
