Waymart CWP Returns to Continue Cleaning Historic Cemetery

SCI Waymart’s Community Work Program cleaned up a local historic cemetery in August, and the crew did so well that the men were brought back in October.
The project consisted of assisting the Archbald Protestant Cemetery Association with landscaping and cleanup on a cemetery the group inherited when a local church closed. Ed Young reached out to SCI Waymart for assistance after working on the cemetery for the past 40 years. Some of the gravestones date back to the Civil War era, alongside markers for veterans of modern wars and conflicts. Labor Foreman Josh Cantrell and his team did a great job on the project for our local community’s clean-up efforts once again.
