Scranton Pavilion Firetree Reentrants Support Griffin Pond Animal Shelter

Reentrants from Scranton Pavilion Firetree, a DOC contract facility, donated $675 and food and cleaning supplies to Griffin Pond Animal Shelter in Clarks Summit. Reentrants from the facility also donated their time to help serve the shelter.

For more than 50 years, the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections has released a newsletter called "Correctional Newsfront." The newsletter highlighted great stories happening in our facilities involving staff, inmates, parolees and anyone involved in corrections in PA. After it became a digital newsletter, it has taken another step into the future by being turned into a blog.
