Mental Health Awareness Month Activities Held at Camp Hill

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and SCI Camp Hill held several events to bring awareness to this worthy cause. On May 13, staff hosted a potluck and food was sold in individual servings to raise money for the designated charity, CONTACT Helpline — a 24-hour human service information and referral service. On May 16, an informational table was set up that included information on coping skills, SEAP services, self-screening and the CISM program. The following weekend, staff participated in a charity walk for mental health awareness held at Harrisburg Area Community College. In addition, a pizza sale and bake sale helped to raise a total of approximately $800.00 to benefit CONTACT helpline.
