Waymart Employees Serve at Local Kitchen

On Feb. 24, SCI Waymart staff continued its #12MonthsOfKindness campaign of service, this time at Scranton’s St. Francis of Assisi Kitchen. This non-profit organization helps feed and clothe homeless and underprivileged people in the Scranton area. Staff helped prepare and serve lunch to more than 100 people. The Waymart team also helped with various maintenance projects, sorted clothing donations and worked in the food bank.
Future kindness projects include donating blood to the Red Cross in March and planting trees for Earth Day in April.
