Scranton CCC Supports Community

Scranton CCC collected $960 worth of school supplies that were donated to the United Neighborhood Centers of NEPA (UNC) located in Scranton. UNC is one of the largest and longest-operating nonprofit organizations in the region. The agency's purpose is to meet the needs of local low-income families, seniors, youth and new immigrants, while also empowering them to attain self-sufficiency. UNC's wide array of programs is continuously adjusted to fill the gaps that exist in local services.
Scranton CCC reentrants also donated their time to help St. John The Baptist Church. They helped by cleaning up the parking lot, cutting grass and cleaning flower beds.
