Two commuted lifers at CCC#2 in Philadelphia spent some time to fix up the gardens on the property. They pulled weeds, mulched and planted new plants to spruce up the facility.
For more than 50 years, the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections has released a newsletter called "Correctional Newsfront." The newsletter highlighted great stories happening in our facilities involving staff, inmates, parolees and anyone involved in corrections in PA. After it became a digital newsletter, it has taken another step into the future by being turned into a blog.
This is the new "Official Newsletter of the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections."
