When: Aug. 24-28, 2020 and Aug. 31-Sept. 4, 2020; 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Where: All state parole offices (see below for contact information)
Who: PA State Parole Board cases that are no longer in compliance with supervision. Individuals must be under PA parole supervision and be paroled by the PA Parole Board.
A safe return is an opportunity for individuals out of compliance with their supervision to safely return to supervision compliance. Due to COVID-19, many individuals have become unavailable to supervision mostly due to fear of return to SCI, loss of housing, and/or health issues. This is an opportunity to come back into compliance with parole.
Can I bring someone with me?
Due to restrictions put in place to promote safe social distancing throughout parole offices around the state, you must turn yourself into the parole office alone.
A mask is required to enter the building.
Will I go back to prison?
The goal will be to divert all individuals back into the community. Each case will be reviewed to determine risks and needs. The agents will work with each individual to address any needs such as housing, AOD, and mental health issues.
Is there anything that would lead to my detention?
If you have an outstanding warrant from a jurisdiction other than the Pennsylvania Parole Board, this could result in your detention. These warrants will be addressed on a case by case basis.
Do I have to go to the parole office I was assigned to?
You may turn yourself into the closest state parole office to your location.

Do I need to bring anything with me?
Bring some form of identification. If no identification is available, you may be required to submit to a live scan fingerprint to confirm identity.
If where I am living is no longer in the district I was assigned to, am I able to stay in the current district?
Parole supervision staff will work with you to establish a home plan that is safe.
