Smithfield Staff Support Veterans Home

SCI Smithfield employees collected various items for residents of Hollidaysburg Veterans Home, a local veterans home operated by the PA Department of Military and Veterans Affairs. Many volunteered to pass out the gifts to the residents. Each veteran received a blanket, a t-shirt, a hat, Christmas decorations, socks, a card and a letter of appreciation. Approximately 25 people volunteered, along with five dogs, to go room to room passing out gifts.
