During the month of June, Scranton CCC collected items for donation to Candy’s Place, a Cancer Wellness Center. The donations totaled nearly $700 and included items such as Keurig k-cups, bottled water, snacks, lifesavers, plastic cups, paper towels, tissues, hand lotion, hand sanitizer, tape, staplers, pens, and more.
Candy’s Place was founded in memory of Candice (Candy) Vincent-Mamary, after she lost her battle with lung cancer. Since 1998, Candy’s Place has provided free services for those living with cancer, all while fostering a positive and loving environment for their clients and loved ones.
