York CCC Partners with Canine Rescue of Central PA for Community Service

On July 6, York Community Corrections Center (CCC) partnered with Canine Rescue of Central PA for a community service project. Reentrants worked to clear an overgrown walking path used by volunteers to leash train and provide exercise to the K9s.
Reentrants from York CCC cleared the brush while reflecting on their own path to reentry. Participating staff and reentrants compared their community service to the hard work and dedication they must have in working toward reentry.
