On March 1, SCI Coal Township and The Terrance Lewis Liberation Foundation held the inaugural graduation ceremony for Project Hope, with 47 inmates successfully completing the program.  Speakers included Superintendent McGinley, Deputy Superintendent Luscavage, Deputy Secretary Kelly Evans, Terrance Lewis, Carson Eckhard, Natalia Rommen, and Sarah Simon.

The Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to advocating for wrongfully convicted people who are seeking legal representation. Project Hope is a program to address the lack of legal and reentry support for incarcerated people. Coal Township was a pilot site for this program, and it was a great success.

The Terence Lewis Liberation Foundation collaborated with the University of Pennsylvania to create the Project Hope program.
