More than 2 years ago, the lease was terminated, and renovations were planned on the Philadelphia West Division Parole Office, so employees were forced to vacate and work out of the Philadelphia DO.

In April, the Philadelphia West team made their triumphant return to the newly renovated office with a grand opening celebration.

Philadelphia District Director Michelle Rivera thanked everyone for attending the opening and said the team is excited to be returning to the area to support community and assist reentrants as they work toward a successful reintegration back into the community.

“We are looking forward to the partnerships with the stakeholders and treatment providers,” she said. “We are also happy to ensure that our staff had a safe and proper place to conduct business.”

Attendees included parole staff and key stakeholders, including from the Philadelphia Police, Philadelphia Office of Violence Prevention, Uplift Solutions Institute for Community Justice, Office of Victim Advocate, CareerLink and Addiction Recovery Services Northeast Treatment Centers. Guests were able to take a tour of the new office.
