Inmates Reflect on Crime at Somerset Day of Responsibility

SCI Somerset held its 2024 Day of Responsibility during National Crime Victims’ Rights Week on April 24. More than 80 inmates attended the program. Social Worker Bethany Hancock and Superintendent Ken Hollibaugh offered the opening remarks before seven guest speakers presented their different views on how crime can impact people. Among them were Heather Hayman, pictured, who is a counselor with Victim Services, and Kurt Danysh, who is the executive director of Tomorrow’s Neighbors.
