Recruitment Lieutenant Speaks to several classes at PennWest Edinboro

Lt. Mallorie French, a recruitment and retention specialist with the PADOC, spoke to several of Dr. Kevin Courtright’s classes on Jan. 23 at PennWest Edinboro. Lt. French shared the need for new employees, the compensation package available to new recruits, incentives, and job requirement changes, specific application procedures, the variety of occupations that exist with the PADOC, the training process, and some of her experiences working directly with inmates prior to becoming a recruitment specialist.
The class consisted of freshmen criminology students, and it was shared via Zoom to students at PennWest CALU and PennWest Clarion.
