Mercer RSO Hosts Guest Speakers

On Dec. 12, Ben and Ginger with Hope Center Ministries presented their 12-month recovery program to a room full of inmates in the SCI Mercer Reentry Service Office. The attendees were all ears listening to the personal stories while soaking in all the information and what Hope Center has to offer for a successful reentry.
Hope Ministries is a 36-bed residential recovery and vocational training program located and surrounded by farmland in Crawford County and a 16-bed center in rural Butler County. Their program is divided into three phases that include: 12 Steps; celebrate recovery; personal spiritual development with Bible studies, devotions, and daily reflection; family support and visitations; and vocational training.
