Benner Township Hosts Event for Employees focused on Suicide Prevention

SCI Benner Township hosted a Suicide Prevention and Awareness event on Sept. 13 to highlight organizations working to prevent suicide. The goal was to increase awareness, support, connections, and education. Outside agencies who participated included the Jana Marie Foundation, V.A. Suicide Prevention team, and the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
Special teams from SCI Benner Township included CERT, CISM, HNT, COVER, EMPOWERMENT, BEA, and the Wellness Committee. As an extra incentive to participate, Bucket Heads BBQ & Downtown Joe Coffee were present for the event.
