Trio of Reentrants Update Quehanna Boot Camp on Success

​Three graduates of the Quehanna Boot Camp recently reached out to give an update on their reentry success.

One boot camp graduate contacted DATS Lewis on Sept. 19 to advise that she is doing very well and is happy and content. She finished her programming and has been sober for two years. She said that she has been asked to share her story at a rehab she went to in the past, and the facility has spoken about hiring her to become a staff member.  eye on the women. Lewis said she sounded happy and expressed gratitude for the help she received at Quehanna.

Another reentrant, who graduated from QBC in May 2022, contacted the camp to say he is doing well and has a good job. He was excited to report that he is closing on a home in the next month as a first-time buyer. He thanked the facility for the opportunity to complete the program and for the help he received. He said he has remained positive since he left the program, and he specifically wanted to thank Sgt. Horner and CO Weaver.

The third reentrant, who also graduated in May 2022, contacted the facility to report that life is going really well. He is running an anti-bullying program in Philadelphia, and he wanted to thank Sgt. Horner, CO Weaver, CO Sankey, CO Barrett, and CO Earhart.
