Waymart CWP Sets Up for Annual Community Event

On Aug. 14 and 15, SCI Waymart's Community Work Program assisted Carbondale City with set up for its annual Pioneer Nights celebration.
Pioneer Nights has been a tradition in Lackawanna County for 20 years. The festival features a wide variety of activities over four days and includes a selection of food vendors, public movies, art displays, and even a week-long scavenger hunt. The festival gives the people of Carbondale the opportunity to celebrate local traditions, cultural diversity, and just to catch up with old friends.
