SCI Mercer Hosts 4th Annual Car Show

On June 21, SCI Mercer hosted their 4th annual car show. Two corrections officers, Mr. and Mrs. Bowser, coordinated the event. A total of 14 vehicles were on display, all belonging to current or retired employees. Attendees also had the opportunity to participate in an auction and food truck onsite.
A $1,000 donation goal was set for the event—this was surpassed by over $300 for a total donation of $1,304.06. The money was donated to Strayhaven, a local non-profit animal shelter. Mr. and Mrs. Bowser expressed their gratitude to the SCI Mercer Employees Association, as well as those who donated items for the auction or animal shelter.
