Waymart Volunteers Decorate, Sing at Nursing Home

A small but festive group of dedicated SCI Waymart employees ventured to Ellen Memorial Health Care Center on Dec. 15 despite bad weather for a window-painting party and sing-along. It was the final #12MonthsofKindness activity of 2022.
Residents of the Center allowed volunteers into their rooms to visit and paint holiday scenery on their windows. Using spray snow and stencils, the Waymart team decorated the residents’ rooms for the holiday season. After the decorating was finished, employees joined in with the residents to sing holiday songs.
While this was the final activity of their 2022 campaign, Waymart staff have committed to another 12 months in 2023.
