Waymart CWP Cleans Historic Cemetery

SCI Waymart’s Community Work Program participated in a local cemetery project for the week of August 22. The project consisted of assisting the Archbald Protestant Cemetery Association with landscaping and cleanup on a cemetery the group inherited when a local church closed. Ed Young reached out to SCI Waymart for assistance after working on the cemetery for the past 40 years. Some of the gravestones dated back to the Civil War era and included veterans of modern wars and conflicts.
Community Work Program Foreman Christopher Serge and his team did a great job on the project for the local community’s clean-up effort.
