Waymart Staff Support Friends of the Poor

SCI Waymart continued its #12MonthsOfKindness campaign with a day of service at Friends of the Poor in Scranton, an organization that helps distribute food and household items to those in need. The volunteers helped unload furniture, remove a broken freezer, pull orders for the pantry and much more.
Friends of the Poor Director Brian Williams said, “I cannot begin to tell you the impact that each of you made today on so many families throughout NEPA! Your presence here today helped us more than you will ever know!!! Thanks a million, my friends! We are forever grateful for the gift of your time and talents!"
