SCI Dallas Vocational Assistant Lisa Tomko retired after more than 29 years with Department of Corrections.

Lisa started her career as a Clerk Typist II, then moved into her role of Corrections Vocational Assistant where she became the backbone of the inmate employment office for more than 28 years. During her tenure, Lisa maintained a cool, calm and professional presence.  Lisa takes with her a wealth of knowledge unsurpassed in any inmate employment office. She was always approachable and consistent with her responses to keep the office in line with all DOC and administrative policies. She also helped oversee the payroll budget with fiscal responsibility, integrity and strict adherence to policy.

Lisa will be sorely missed by everyone at SCI Dallas, and we all wish Lisa the very best in her retirement and hope she knows how much we truly appreciate her and her service to our wonderful family and inmate population at SCI Dallas.
