During April, the Scranton Community Corrections Center collected items for the Griffin Pond Animal Shelter, which helps fight animal cruelty while promote adoption and humane education. It also cares for animals surrendered to the shelter until they find new permanent homes.

Scranton CCC collected nearly $800 worth of items, including food for cats and dogs, cleaning supplies, toys and more.
