Guest Speaker Presents to Laurel Highlands Therapeutic Communities

On Oct. 27, SCI Laurel Highlands hosted Stephanie Urban, founder of The LivRed Foundation, to speak to the Therapeutic Communities. Stephanie spoke to the inmates about a wrong way DUI crash that killed her sister, Olivia Red, in May of 2018. Stephanie founded The LivRed Foundation to honor her sister and keep her memory alive. The foundation focuses on promoting random acts of kindness. They also give away a scholarship and hold events in the community to raise awareness about the foundation.
