Philadelphia Parole Staff Collect Items for Refugees from Afghanistan

With Philadelphia receiving refugees from Afghanistan, parole staff from the Philadelphia Specialized, Countywide and West Divisions at the Philadelphia District Office held a donation drive to help out.
Together with the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania Emergency Room staff, the parole team collected multiple carloads of items. They collected diapers, wipes, baby hygiene products (shampoo, soap and diaper cream), clothing (baby, child and adult sizes), toys, feminine hygiene products and non-perishable food items.
The items were donated to Cradles to Crayons, an organization in Philadelphia working directly with the families once they are resettled.
