Pine Grove Inmate Organization Supports Make-a-Wish

During the COVID-19 pandemic, SCI Pine Grove's Beyond the Fence inmate organization decided the money it raised through various fundraisers should serve the children of Pennsylvania. Specifically, Beyond the Fence wanted to help children and families served by the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Beyond the Fence donated a total of $15,000 to Make-A-Wish of Greater PA and West Virginia, which grants life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. The wishes granted create an opportunity for hope and the chance to experience life beyond illness.
