Fayette Candy Sale Supports Victims' Center

The SCI Fayette Activities Department held a candy sale for inmates in general population with the proceeds donated to a non-profit organization. In conjunction with National Crime Victims' Rights Week and keeping the local community in mind, the Crime Victims' Center of Fayette County was selected to receive the donation.

The sale was a huge success with $5,115.28 raised to help this organization with its mission to assist victims of crime. The center also helps individuals by encouraging them to achieve and/or maintain independence through advocacy, counseling, education, crisis intervention and other forms of assistance.
