Pine Grove Inmate Organization Supports Local Community

On April 8, SCI Pine Grove's Beyond the Fence Inmate Organization decided during these trying times of the COVID-19 pandemic that the money they have raised through fundraisers, photos and ice cream sales would help serve the local community.

The Beyond the Fence Inmate Organization is donating a total of $4,000 to Indiana County Community Action Program (ICCAP), which provides programs aimed at helping low-income families and individuals attain self-sufficiency, and the Alice Paul House located in Indiana County. The Alice Paul House promotes awareness of domestic violence, sexual assault and victimization in our community through primary prevention and educational programs; assists and empowers all victims of crime; and provides safety to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.

The Beyond the Fence Inmate Organization strives to assist the local community in which they reside.
