This year's Thanksgiving holiday was "all hands on deck" at SCI Chester.
While in the midst of the pandemic, with many staff out sick and inmate workers at a minimum, the Chester family came together to deliver a spectacular meal to all inmates and staff.
Staff from several departments took time out of their holiday to come in to the institution and get the meal out.
Chester administration deeply appreciates everyone's efforts during this difficult time and expresses their sincere gratitude to all of their staff.
The food service department went above and beyond to deliver an outstanding meal with extra treats to make the much-needed holiday meal an extraordinary blessing in this trying time! Thank you, Food Service! You are truly rock stars!
The administration also gives a huge shout-out to staff from Phoenix, Fayette, Mahanoy, Mercer, Forest, Cambridge Springs and that came in and assisted over the past several weeks. We couldn't have done it without you!
