On Dec. 19, SCI Chester held its annual blood drive. More than 25 employees donated blood! Thank you to the Red Cross for coming to our facility and to all the staff who donated!
For more than 50 years, the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections has released a newsletter called "Correctional Newsfront." The newsletter highlighted great stories happening in our facilities involving staff, inmates, parolees and anyone involved in corrections in PA. After it became a digital newsletter, it has taken another step into the future by being turned into a blog.
This is the new "Official Newsletter of the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections."
