Plates and Metal Products
Fayette
produces aluminum license plates for PennDOT and the PA Department of
Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR).PennDOT standard automotive registration plates, special organization
plates and vanity plates, along with ATV registration plates for DCNR all
contribute to annual plant production in excess of 2 million plates
annually.
Fayette also
focuses on metal fabrication, producing metal goods for state and municipal
customers including the PA DOC, Pennsylvania State Police and the Pennsylvania
Game Commission. Goods produced in the
metal fabrication factory include DOC Volume 10 cell furniture to all PA DOC
locations including cell beds, cabinets, Texas Tables and shelving. Other metal products produced in this factory
include weight equipment, lockers, desks, pallet racking systems, storage
solutions and security benches.
There are
currently 126 inmates working in the Fayette factory.
