Interactive Community Services Map

This interactive community services map includes information for offenders who are returning home after serving a prison sentence.
Each year more than 20,000 offenders are released from state prisons to communities across Pennsylvania. These individuals bring home with them a variety of needs which are crucial to address in order to ensure their success in the community.
Several years ago the DOC developed reentry resource directories for each of Pennsylvania's 67 county. They were essentially like a phone book used to find assistance in areas such as: housing and transportation, employment, alcohol and other drug treatment, medical assistance, food assistance, mental health services, parenting and education services.
In 2013, the DOC updated these directories and expanded them to include additional services such as domestic violence/victim services, identification documents, etc.
In addition to updating and expanding the directories, the DOC improved them further by making them accessible via the internet using an interactive map format.
Features of this new, interactive map include the ability to filter and select specific services of interest on the map; the ability to type in an address and zoom to that area on the map; and the ability to download/print the full county directory for any given county.
Individuals with questions or comments on this map are encouraged to share their input by sending an e-mail to the DOC at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please make sure to include "Interactive Map" in the subject line of your e-mail.
