Erie CCC Holds Summer Picnic

Erie Community Corrections Center held its bi-annual Community Connections meeting followed by the reentrant summer picnic on Aug. 30. There were 20 representatives from Erie CCC, local law enforcement and service providers. A variety of topics were covered during the meeting including recent improvements at the facility, steps taken to address the opioid crisis and ways both the facility and service providers could improve operations. Afterward a picnic lunch was served by Erie CCC staff, who provided lunch and dinner to all reentrants at the facility. During lunch the reentrants were able to interact with the various service providers and discuss what services were offered in the community.
