Freshly planted plants in a patch of dirt

For the third consecutive year, Scranton CCC planted its Reentry Garden. The project has expanded to a nearby area that wasn’t in use, and now the garden will grow vegetables for Friends of the Poor during the summer months. Scranton CCC will be giving all of its tomatoes and cucumbers to the organization once they’re picked.

With the help of reentrants, the CCC added: 10 bags of topsoil, four tomato plants, three cumber plants, two pepper plants, basil, lavender, and various flowers to fill the garden.
