Muncy Incarcerated Veterans Create Thank-you Cards for 143 Day

In honor of 143 Day in PA, incarcerated veterans on the SCI Muncy Veterans Service Unit made 243 handmade thank-you cards for residents of Hollidaysburg Veterans Home — one for each resident. Each card has a hand-written message of appreciation and gratitude.
The home is one of six operated by the PA Department of Military and Veterans Affairs. 143 Day in PA is an annual day of kindness and gratitude in honor of Pennsylvania’s most famous neighbor, Mister Rogers.
