C.O.V.E.R. Kicks off Mental Health Awareness Month with Walk for Suicide Prevention

On April 30, C.O.V.E.R. members from SCI Benner Township, SCI Houtzdale, SCI Rockview, SCI Muncy, and SCI Waymart participated in the 2.2-mile Out of the Darkness Walk around State College in support of suicide prevention. The statewide team raised $1,815, which put the C.O.V.E.R. team in second place out of a total of 24 teams (257 participants) who collectively raised $22,331.00 for this important cause.
Huge thank you to everyone who participated on the C.O.V.E.R. team! The C.O.V.E.R. team plans on making this walk and fundraiser a staple for years to come. Thank you to everyone for your continued support of this mission to help ourselves through peer-to-peer support.
