Houtzdale Hosts Police, Other Partners for Drill Scenario

SCI Houtzdale conducted a full-scale training exercise on April 5. The drill scenario involved a mock hostage situation. The exercise included the Pennsylvania State Police and a helicopter, as well as the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency, County Emergency Management Agency, Houtzdale Volunteer Fire Company, and Houtzdale-Ramey EMS. In addition to the outside agencies, the following institutional teams were involved: CISM, HNT, CERT and FERT.
This exercise was a fantastic learning experience for individuals at all levels both inside and outside of the facility.
