Reentrants Serve at Food Giveaway in Philadelphia

On Feb. 28, five Gaudenzia DRC reentrants volunteered to assist 8th District City Council Member Cindy Bass with a Community Food Giveaway at Germantown and Windrim Ave 19140. Gaudenzia DRC reentrants did an outstanding job loading up citizens vehicles with free food until all the food was gone.
This is the second time reentrants were helped serve at one of Councilwoman Bass' food giveaways. Each time, reentrants were asked about the experience, and they were all overwhelmingly thankful to take part in it and plan to do it again.
