Piles of donations for the SPCA

Each quarter, the Quehanna Boot Camp Employees’ Association (QBCEA) selects a worthwhile cause to support. The following is a rundown of its efforts in 2022:

1st Quarter – Collected items for the Clearfield County SPCA. In addition to collecting pet food, treats and much-needed cleaning supplies, staff gave $116 in monetary donations and a book of stamps.

2nd Quarter – In conjunction with the COVER Committee, QBC collected items to be sent to our active duty/deployed immediate family members of our staff. Employees were able to provide two priority mail care packages, which included a wide variety of items that were highly requested. A very special thank you went out to the active duty/deployed immediate family members of QBC for providing a list of items that our staff members so graciously took the time to collect and donate.

3rd Quarter – Collected non-perishable food items and cleaning supplies for the Central PA Community Action Agency of Clearfield. In addition to the items collected, staff gave $40 in monetary donations. The Clearfield Food Pantry helps over 400 families monthly with food and supplies. A beautiful thank-you note and certificate were received for their support.
