Rockview Honors 39 Graduates

Two people give a certificate to a graduate

The SCI Rockview Education Department held graduation on Sept. 28 with friends and family in attendance to celebrate the graduates. A total of 39 inmates received certificates in HVAC, Masonry, Residential Wiring, GED, CSD and Barber Instructor.

For more than 50 years, the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections has released a newsletter called "Correctional Newsfront." The newsletter highlighted great stories happening in our facilities involving staff, inmates, parolees and anyone involved in corrections in PA. After it became a digital newsletter, it has taken another step into the future by being turned into a blog.
