The DOC held a luncheon at the Training Academy on Aug. 24 to celebrate the success of the 2021-2022 State Employee Combined Appeal (SECA) campaign and kick off the next one.

Acting Sec. George Little provided opening remarks encouraging the volunteers and SECA coordinators, and awards were presented to those who achieved success for last year’s campaign — which saw the DOC raise $356,496.81. Since 2012, DOC employees have donated $4,455,477.73 to benefit SECA.

Looking ahead to the next campaign, the DOC’s goal is $418,597.07 with 2,706 employees donating. The theme is “Lights, Camera, Give!” and anyone interested in more details should contact their on-site coordinator.
