DOC Interns Visit Rockview

​The DOC summer interns continued their experience with a trip to SCI Rockview. Superintendent Bobbi Jo Salamon showed the interns the facility including the Forestry Camp, the water treatment facility, the Rockview farm and the PA Correctional Industries Wood Shop.

For more than 50 years, the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections has released a newsletter called "Correctional Newsfront." The newsletter highlighted great stories happening in our facilities involving staff, inmates, parolees and anyone involved in corrections in PA. After it became a digital newsletter, it has taken another step into the future by being turned into a blog.
