Chester Celebrates #143DayInPA with Donation to CHOP

SCI Chester celebrated #143DayInPA by holding a donation drive for the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), the nation's first hospital devoted exclusively to the care of children. Chester staff and inmates wanted to recognize real superheroes, so they joined in and donated more than $1,000. Chester inmates also made a special superhero-themed card that was card signed by facility staff to encourage CHOP employees to “keep fighting.” It was dropped off by Activities Manager Gilliard.
